- 1 large onion (sliced into rings)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Slice the onion into rings and separate them.
- In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- In another bowl, whisk milk and egg.
- Dip each onion ring into the flour mixture, then the milk mixture, then the breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a deep pan to 375°F (190°C).
- Fry onion rings in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
Notes
- Use a deep fryer for even cooking.
- For extra crispiness, double coat the onion rings.
- Serve with ketchup or your favorite dipping sauce.
