Ingredients

  • 2 strip steaks (8 oz each)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp truffle oil
  • 1 lb green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the steaks with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steaks for 4-5 minutes per side.
  3. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet, baste the steaks, then remove and let rest.
  4. Cook orzo according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add heavy cream, parmesan, and truffle oil. Stir until thickened, then mix in the orzo.
  6. Toss green beans with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Roast at 400°F for 15 minutes, then sprinkle with parmesan.
  7. Slice the steaks and serve with the orzo and green beans.
