Description

These crispy air fryer fries are the perfect side dish or snack, made with just a few simple ingredients. They are healthier than traditional fries but just as delicious!


Ingredients

  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips to resemble fries.
  2. Soak the potato strips in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch, then drain and pat them dry with a towel.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the potato strips with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Place the fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded. You may need to do this in batches.
  6. Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking for even crispiness.
  7. Once they are golden brown and crispy, remove the fries from the air fryer and serve immediately.
