Ingredients
Scale
- 2 ribeye steaks (1-inch thick)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to high heat.
- Season both sides of the steaks with salt and black pepper.
- Drizzle olive oil over the steaks, ensuring they are well coated.
- Place the steaks on the hot grill and cook for 4 to 5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness is reached.
- Meanwhile, in a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme, and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes.
- Drizzle the garlic butter over the steaks before serving. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
- For best results, use high-quality ribeye steaks.
- Let steaks rest after grilling to allow juices to redistribute.
- Feel free to substitute other herbs for the garlic butter based on your dad’s preferences.
