Ingredients

  • 1 pound cake (store-bought or homemade), cut into cubes
  • 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 2 cups vanilla pudding (prepared)
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds (optional)
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large trifle bowl or individual serving glasses, layer half of the pound cake cubes at the bottom.
  2. Add half of the mixed berries on top of the cake cubes.
  3. Pour half of the vanilla pudding over the berries, smoothing it out evenly.
  4. Add half of the whipped cream on top of the pudding layer.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining pound cake, mixed berries, vanilla pudding, and whipped cream.
  6. Top with sliced almonds and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
