- 1 pound cake (store-bought or homemade), cut into cubes
- 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- 2 cups vanilla pudding (prepared)
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds (optional)
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large trifle bowl or individual serving glasses, layer half of the pound cake cubes at the bottom.
- Add half of the mixed berries on top of the cake cubes.
- Pour half of the vanilla pudding over the berries, smoothing it out evenly.
- Add half of the whipped cream on top of the pudding layer.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining pound cake, mixed berries, vanilla pudding, and whipped cream.
- Top with sliced almonds and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Notes
- You can use any combination of fruits based on your preference or seasonal availability.
