- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (frozen or fresh)
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Add ground beef, cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, beef broth, mixed vegetables, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes until vegetables are tender.
- Serve hot with rice or bread.
Notes
- Feel free to add other spices according to your taste.
- You can substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
