  • 1 bag (9.75 oz) Doritos (any flavor, but Nacho Cheese works well)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Cooking spray or oil for baking

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly grease with cooking spray or oil.
  2. Crush the Doritos into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a sealed bag and crushing with a rolling pin.
  3. In one bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. In another bowl, beat the eggs. Place the crushed Doritos in a third bowl.
  4. Dip each chicken tender in the flour mixture, then the egg, and finally coat with the Doritos crumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
  5. Place the coated tenders on the prepared baking sheet. Lightly spray with cooking spray for extra crispiness.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway, until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden and crispy.
