Description
A spicy twist on the classic deviled eggs with crispy bacon and jalapeño for an extra kick.

- 6 large eggs
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 jalapeño, finely chopped
- Chives or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Hard boil the eggs: Place eggs in a pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then cover and remove from heat. Let sit for 12 minutes.
- Cool the eggs: Transfer eggs to an ice bath for 5 minutes, then peel under cold running water.
- Prepare the filling: Cut the eggs in half lengthwise and remove the yolks. In a bowl, mash the yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Add the mix-ins: Stir in crumbled bacon and chopped jalapeño into the yolk mixture.
- Fill the eggs: Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
- Garnish: Top with additional jalapeño slices and chives or parsley for garnish.
- Serve: Enjoy immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
- You can adjust the amount of jalapeño based on your spice preference.
- For extra flavor, consider adding some smoked paprika to the yolk mixture.
