Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Pat dry chicken wings with paper towels.
  2. Toss wings with cornstarch, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Heat oil in a deep pan to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Fry wings in batches for 10-12 minutes until golden and crispy.
  5. Drain wings on paper towels.
  6. In a saucepan, mix honey, garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
  7. Cook sauce over medium heat until thickened (about 3 minutes).
  8. Toss wings in sauce until evenly coated.
