Crispy chicken served in a creamy Dijon mustard sauce.

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp dried thyme
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Beat eggs in a separate bowl.
- Dip chicken breasts in eggs, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken until golden brown, about 3 minutes per side.
- Transfer chicken to a baking dish and bake for 15 minutes.
- In the same skillet, whisk heavy cream, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and thyme. Simmer for 3 minutes.
- Pour sauce over baked chicken and serve.
Notes
- Use fresh breadcrumbs for extra crispiness.
- Adjust mustard to taste.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables.
