- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp milk
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 slices crusty bread or ciabatta
- 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
- 1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1/4 cup shaved Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Whisk egg and milk in another bowl.
- Dip chicken breasts in egg mixture, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden.
- Transfer chicken to a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes until fully cooked.
- Toast bread slices lightly.
- Spread Caesar dressing on bread.
- Layer lettuce, crispy chicken, and shaved Parmesan on bread.
- Top with another slice of bread and serve.
Notes
- Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crispiness.
- Add bacon for extra flavor.
- Serve with extra dressing on the side.
