Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp sriracha
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken strips in buttermilk for 30 minutes.
  2. Mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Coat each chicken strip in the flour mixture.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and fry chicken until golden and crispy.
  5. Whisk mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, honey, and sriracha to make the bang bang sauce.
  6. Toss the fried chicken in the sauce or drizzle it on top.
  7. Serve immediately with rice or a side salad.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, double-coat the chicken in flour.
