Description

A delicious and comforting dish featuring tender chicken in a creamy mushroom and herb sauce served over fluffy rice.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup cooked rice

Instructions

  1. Heat butter and olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add chicken breasts and cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown.
  3. Remove chicken and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add mushrooms and sauté for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Stir in heavy cream, thyme, rosemary, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  6. Return chicken to the pan and simmer for 5 minutes until sauce thickens.
  7. Serve over cooked rice.
