- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Heat olive oil and butter in a pan over medium heat.
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Cook chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until golden. Remove from pan.
- In the same pan, sauté garlic and mushrooms for 3-4 minutes.
- Pour in chicken broth and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Reduce heat, add heavy cream, and stir until smooth.
- Return chicken to the pan and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Serve hot.
