Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil and butter in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and thyme.
  3. Cook chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until golden. Remove from pan.
  4. In the same pan, sauté garlic and mushrooms for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and simmer for 2 minutes.
  6. Reduce heat, add heavy cream, and stir until smooth.
  7. Return chicken to the pan and simmer for 5 minutes.
  8. Serve hot.
