- 1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Cook rice according to package instructions and set aside.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add shrimp, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink.
- Stir in lemon juice, parsley, dill, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Serve shrimp over rice, spooning extra garlic butter sauce on top.
Notes
- Use fresh herbs for best flavor.
- Adjust spice level with more or less red pepper flakes.
- For extra richness, add 1 tbsp heavy cream to the sauce.
- Serve with a side of steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
