A quick and easy one-pot pasta dish with creamy Cajun flavors and smoked sausage.
Ingredients

- 12 oz smoked sausage, sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 12 oz pasta (penne or similar)
- 2 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add sausage and cook until browned.
- Add onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Cook until softened.
- Stir in Cajun seasoning and pasta. Add chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 12 minutes until pasta is tender.
- Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan. Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.

- Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste.
- Use gluten-free pasta if needed.
