- 1 package of sugar cookie dough
- 1 cup of powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup of butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons of milk
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- Red and green sprinkles for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Roll out the sugar cookie dough on a floured surface and cut into Christmas shapes using cookie cutters.
- Place the cookie shapes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 8-10 minutes or until lightly golden.
- While the cookies are baking, prepare the frosting by mixing powdered sugar, cocoa powder, softened butter, milk, and vanilla extract in a bowl until smooth.
- Once the cookies have cooled, frost them with the chocolate frosting and decorate with red and green sprinkles.
- Allow the frosting to set for a few minutes before serving.
