Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
- Mix flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream butter and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in mashed bananas and vanilla.
- Fold in dry ingredients until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into loaf pan. Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
- Use very ripe bananas for best flavor.
- Do not overmix batter.
- Store leftovers airtight for up to 3 days.
