Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for spice)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Drain and rinse the chickpeas thoroughly, then pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel.
  3. In a bowl, toss the chickpeas with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using) until evenly coated.
  4. Spread the chickpeas in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  5. Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the chickpeas are crispy and golden brown.
  6. Remove from the air fryer and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
