Description
These chicken wings are crispy, flavorful, and perfect for any occasion! Tossed in a spicy sauce, they’re a crowd favorite.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup hot sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat the wings evenly.
- Spread the wings out in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are crispy and cooked through.
- While the wings are baking, prepare the sauce. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the hot sauce and butter. Stir until the butter is melted and the sauce is well mixed.
- Once the wings are done, remove them from the oven and toss them in the hot sauce mixture until well coated.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
- For extra crispy wings, you can broil them for an additional 2-3 minutes at the end of baking.
- Feel free to adjust the amount of hot sauce to your desired spice level.
- These wings can also be made in an air fryer; cook at 375°F (190°C) for about 25 minutes.
