  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup hot sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat the wings evenly.
  3. Spread the wings out in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are crispy and cooked through.
  5. While the wings are baking, prepare the sauce. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the hot sauce and butter. Stir until the butter is melted and the sauce is well mixed.
  6. Once the wings are done, remove them from the oven and toss them in the hot sauce mixture until well coated.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

  • For extra crispy wings, you can broil them for an additional 2-3 minutes at the end of baking.
  • Feel free to adjust the amount of hot sauce to your desired spice level.
  • These wings can also be made in an air fryer; cook at 375°F (190°C) for about 25 minutes.
