- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce or hot sauce (for tossing after baking)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
- In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper until well coated.
- Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are crispy and fully cooked.
- Remove from the oven and toss the wings in barbecue sauce or hot sauce if desired.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
