- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet, skin-side down. Sear for about 5-7 minutes until the skin is golden brown.
- Flip the chicken thighs over and add minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for an additional minute, stirring the garlic to prevent burning.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar.
- Pour the honey garlic mixture over the chicken thighs, ensuring they are well coated.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
