Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and dried thyme.
  3. Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and coat them evenly with the seasoning mixture.
  4. Place the chicken thighs in the air fryer basket, skin side up, ensuring they are not overlapping.
  5. Cook in the air fryer for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is crispy.
  6. Remove from the air fryer and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crispy skin, you can use the air fryer’s ‘crisp’ function if available.
  • Feel free to adjust the spices to your taste or add your favorite herbs.
  • Serve with a side of vegetables or over a bed of rice for a complete meal.
