- 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and dried thyme.
- Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and coat them evenly with the seasoning mixture.
- Place the chicken thighs in the air fryer basket, skin side up, ensuring they are not overlapping.
- Cook in the air fryer for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is crispy.
- Remove from the air fryer and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispy skin, you can use the air fryer’s ‘crisp’ function if available.
- Feel free to adjust the spices to your taste or add your favorite herbs.
- Serve with a side of vegetables or over a bed of rice for a complete meal.
