- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Dip chicken cubes in beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken bites for 2-3 minutes per side until golden.
- Transfer to a baking sheet. Top each bite with marinara sauce and mozzarella.
- Bake for 5-7 minutes until cheese melts.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, use panko breadcrumbs.
- You can air-fry the bites at 375°F for 8-10 minutes instead of baking.
- Serve with extra marinara sauce for dipping.
