- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 pita breads
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1 cucumber, grated and drained
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp dill
- 1 clove garlic, minced
Instructions
- Marinate chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper for 30 minutes.
- Grill or pan-fry chicken until fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes per side.
- Mix yogurt, feta, grated cucumber, lemon juice, dill, and minced garlic to make the tzatziki sauce.
- Warm pita breads briefly in a pan or oven.
- Assemble gyros by placing chicken on pita bread and topping with tzatziki sauce.
