- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and sear for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Reduce the heat to medium and add the butter, garlic, thyme, rosemary, and paprika to the skillet.
- Spoon the melted garlic butter over the chicken breasts and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Remove the skillet from the oven and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the chicken.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
