This air fryer chicken recipe yields perfectly crispy and juicy chicken with minimal oil. The chicken is seasoned to perfection and cooked to a golden brown in just 30 minutes.

- 4 chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and dried thyme.
- Add chicken thighs to the bowl and toss until well coated with the seasoning mix.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place the seasoned chicken thighs in the air fryer basket, skin side up, making sure they are not overcrowded.
- Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is crispy.
- Remove from the air fryer and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispy skin, you can pat the chicken dry with paper towels before seasoning.
- Feel free to use chicken breasts or drumsticks instead of thighs; adjust cooking time accordingly.
