Cherry Lemonade: The Perfect Summer Drink for Hot Days

A refreshing and tangy cherry lemonade perfect for summer days.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups Fresh cherries
  • 1 cup Fresh lemon juice
  • 3/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 4 cups Water
  • as needed Ice cubes
  • for garnish Lemon slices
  • for garnish Cherries

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the pitted cherries and 1 cup of water. Blend until smooth.
  2. Strain the cherry puree through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher, discarding the solids.
  3. Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice, sugar, and remaining 3 cups of water to the pitcher. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  4. Taste and adjust the sweetness by adding more sugar if desired.
  5. Serve the cherry lemonade over ice cubes and garnish with lemon slices and whole cherries.

Notes

  • For an extra kick, add a splash of club soda for fizz.
  • You can also use frozen cherries if fresh ones are not available.
