- 2 large potatoes, boiled and mashed
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Mix mashed potatoes, salt, pepper, and parsley in a bowl.
- Take a small portion of the mixture and flatten it in your palm.
- Place a teaspoon of shredded cheese in the center.
- Fold the edges to seal the cheese inside and shape into a ball.
- Dip each ball in beaten egg, then roll in breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the balls until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels and serve warm.

- Use cold mashed potatoes for easier shaping.
- You can bake instead of fry for a healthier option.
- Serve with ketchup or sour cream for dipping.
