- 6 medium apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup cold butter, cubed
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the sliced apples with caramel sauce until well coated. Spread the mixture evenly in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In another bowl, combine the rolled oats, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt. Add the cubed butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Sprinkle the oat mixture over the caramel apple layer in the baking dish.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
