Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite)
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage or bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 1 cup cubed bread (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for greasing the dish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Stir in the cheese, cooked sausage or bacon, bell peppers, onions, and cubed bread if using.
  4. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with olive oil.
  5. Pour the egg mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
