Description

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup mirin
  • 2 tablespoons sake
  • to taste wasabi
  • 2 stalks green onions
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over high heat until very hot.
  2. Sear the beef tenderloin for 1-2 minutes on each side until browned but rare in the center.
  3. Remove the beef from the skillet and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  4. While the beef is resting, mix soy sauce, mirin, and sake in a small bowl to create the dipping sauce.
  5. Slice the beef thinly against the grain.
  6. Serve the sliced beef with wasabi, green onions, and toasted sesame seeds, alongside the dipping sauce.
