- 1 pound beef tenderloin
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup mirin
- 2 tablespoons sake
- to taste wasabi
- 2 stalks green onions
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over high heat until very hot.
- Sear the beef tenderloin for 1-2 minutes on each side until browned but rare in the center.
- Remove the beef from the skillet and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- While the beef is resting, mix soy sauce, mirin, and sake in a small bowl to create the dipping sauce.
- Slice the beef thinly against the grain.
- Serve the sliced beef with wasabi, green onions, and toasted sesame seeds, alongside the dipping sauce.
