Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the beef, soy sauce, and cornstarch. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from pan and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining oil and sauté the bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot until tender, about 4-5 minutes.
  4. Add the garlic and ginger, stirring for an additional minute.
  5. Return the beef to the skillet, mix well, and cook for another 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve over cooked rice.
