- 8 oz ramen noodles
- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 4 cups beef broth
- 2 cups water
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp chili paste (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Soft boiled eggs for topping (optional)
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant.
- Add sliced beef to the pot and cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
- Pour in beef broth and water, then stir in soy sauce and chili paste. Bring to a simmer.
- Add ramen noodles to the pot and cook according to package instructions until tender.
- Once noodles are cooked, remove from heat and stir in chopped green onions.
- Serve hot, garnished with soft boiled eggs and sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
- You can use any type of beef for this recipe, but sirloin works best for tenderness.
