These BBQ Baked Beans are the perfect side dish for your summer barbecue. They are sweet, smoky, and packed with flavor!
Ingredients

- 2 cans (15 oz each) navy beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup bell pepper, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the navy beans, BBQ sauce, brown sugar, onion, bell pepper, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbly and the beans are heated through.
- Serve warm as a side dish to your BBQ meal.
Notes
- Feel free to substitute the navy beans with pinto beans or black beans for a different flavor.
- Add cooked bacon or sausage for an extra meaty version.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
