Description

These BBQ pulled pork sliders are tender, flavorful, and easy to make. Perfect for parties or a delicious weeknight dinner!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds pork shoulder
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 12 slider buns
  • Coleslaw (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Rub the spice mixture all over the pork shoulder.
  4. Place the pork in a roasting pan or Dutch oven and cover it tightly with foil.
  5. Roast in the oven for 4-5 hours, or until the pork is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
  6. Remove the pork from the oven, and let it rest for 15 minutes before shredding it with two forks.
  7. Mix the shredded pork with BBQ sauce until fully coated.
  8. To assemble the sliders, place a generous amount of BBQ pulled pork on the bottom half of each slider bun.
  9. Top with coleslaw if desired, then place the top half of the bun on each slider.
  10. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the pork shoulder overnight with the spice mixture.
  • You can also cook the pork in a slow cooker on low for 8 hours for a hands-off approach.
  • Feel free to use your favorite BBQ sauce for this recipe.
