Ingredients

- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour to make a roux.
- Gradually whisk in milk until smooth. Cook until slightly thickened.
- Add cheddar and mozzarella cheese, stirring until melted.
- Mix in cooked macaroni, shredded chicken, BBQ sauce, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Stir well and cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Use your favorite BBQ sauce for best flavor.
- Add a pinch of smoked paprika for extra smokiness.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
