A simple and delicious baked chicken breast recipe with balsamic glaze and melted mozzarella cheese.

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Coat chicken breasts with the marinade and let sit for 10 minutes.
- Place chicken in a baking dish and bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove from oven, top with mozzarella cheese, and bake for another 5 minutes or until cheese melts.
- Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
Notes
- Use fresh chicken breasts for best results.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Serve with a side of roasted vegetables or salad.
