Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 whole red snapper (about 2 lbs), cleaned and scaled
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh oregano, chopped
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Rinse the snapper and pat dry with paper towels.
  3. Make 3-4 diagonal cuts on each side of the fish.
  4. Rub the fish with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Stuff the cavity with lemon slices, parsley, and oregano.
  6. Place the fish on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  8. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use fresh herbs for the best flavor.
