- 1 whole red snapper (about 2 lbs), cleaned and scaled
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh oregano, chopped
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Rinse the snapper and pat dry with paper towels.
- Make 3-4 diagonal cuts on each side of the fish.
- Rub the fish with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Stuff the cavity with lemon slices, parsley, and oregano.
- Place the fish on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Garnish with fresh herbs and serve immediately.
