- 2 dozen clams, scrubbed and rinsed
- 1 pound baby potatoes, halved
- 4 ears of corn, cut into thirds
- 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 lemon, halved
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Water, enough to cover the bottom of the pot
Instructions
- In a large pot, add enough water to cover the bottom and bring to a boil.
- Add the baby potatoes to the pot and cook for about 10 minutes until they start to soften.
- Add the corn and sliced sausage to the pot, stirring to combine.
- Place the clams on top of the mixture and cover the pot with a lid.
- Steam the clams for about 5-7 minutes, or until they open up.
- Once the clams are open, add the butter and squeeze the juice of the lemon halves over the top.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

- Ensure all clams are alive before cooking; discard any that do not open.
