  • 2 dozen clams, scrubbed and rinsed
  • 1 pound baby potatoes, halved
  • 4 ears of corn, cut into thirds
  • 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 lemon, halved
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Water, enough to cover the bottom of the pot

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, add enough water to cover the bottom and bring to a boil.
  2. Add the baby potatoes to the pot and cook for about 10 minutes until they start to soften.
  3. Add the corn and sliced sausage to the pot, stirring to combine.
  4. Place the clams on top of the mixture and cover the pot with a lid.
  5. Steam the clams for about 5-7 minutes, or until they open up.
  6. Once the clams are open, add the butter and squeeze the juice of the lemon halves over the top.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
