- 1 pound breakfast sausage, crumbled
- 8 slices of bread, cubed
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 6 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)
Instructions

- In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, layer the bread cubes, cooked sausage, and shredded cheese.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the bread and sausage. Gently press down with a spatula to ensure the bread absorbs the egg mixture.

- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the casserole is set and the top is golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
