Crispy and delicious air fryer wontons filled with your choice of savory ingredients. Perfect as an appetizer or snack!


Ingredients

  • 1 package of wonton wrappers
  • 1 cup of cooked and chopped meat (chicken, pork, shrimp, or tofu)
  • 1 cup of finely chopped vegetables (cabbage, carrots, green onions, etc.)
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger, minced
  • Cooking spray or oil for spraying
  • Dipping sauce (soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, or your choice)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked meat, chopped vegetables, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Mix well.
  2. Take a wonton wrapper and place about a teaspoon of the filling in the center.
  3. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, then fold the wrapper in half to form a triangle. Press the edges to seal tightly. You can also fold the corners in for a different shape.
  4. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Arrange the wontons in a single layer in the basket, making sure they do not touch.
  7. Spray the tops of the wontons with cooking spray.
  8. Cook for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through cooking.
  9. Remove from the air fryer and serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce.

Notes

  • You can customize the filling based on your preferences or dietary needs.
  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook in batches if necessary.
  • For extra crispiness, spray a little more oil halfway through cooking.
