Description
Crispy and flavorful teriyaki chicken wings made easily in an air fryer. Perfect for a quick appetizer or main dish.
Ingredients

- 1 lb chicken wings
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp ginger powder
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
- 1 tbsp chopped green onions (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Pat the chicken wings dry with a paper towel.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic powder, and ginger powder to make the teriyaki sauce.
- Place the wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 12 minutes, flip, then cook another 10-12 minutes until crispy and cooked through.
- In a small saucepan, mix cornstarch and water, then add the teriyaki sauce. Cook on medium heat until thickened.
- Toss the cooked wings in the teriyaki sauce.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.
Notes
- For crispier wings, pat them dry thoroughly before cooking.
- Adjust honey for sweetness preference.
- Let wings rest for a few minutes before serving for better texture.
