Description

Crispy and delicious Indian spiced potato patties made in an air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 2 large potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 1/2 cup green peas, boiled and mashed
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh coriander, chopped
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine mashed potatoes, green peas, cumin seeds, garam masala, red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, and chopped coriander. Mix well.
  2. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into small patties.
  3. Coat each patty with breadcrumbs for extra crunch.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place the patties in a single layer.
  6. Air fry for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
  7. Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.

Notes

  • You can add chopped onions or green chilies for extra flavor.
  • Adjust the spices according to your taste preference.
