  • Author: ushinzomr

Description

Crispy, crunchy, and full of flavor, these air fryer pickles are the perfect snack or appetizer. Quick and easy to make, they deliver all the satisfaction of deep-fried pickles without the extra oil.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 jar of dill pickles, sliced into chips
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko for extra crunch)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Drain the pickle chips and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. In a shallow bowl, place the flour. In another bowl, whisk the eggs. In a third bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each pickle chip first in the flour, shaking off the excess, then into the egg, and finally in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to adhere.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Arrange the breaded pickle chips in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray lightly with cooking spray.
  6. Air fry for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
  7. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add cayenne pepper to the breadcrumb mixture.
  • Adjust the cooking time based on the thickness of the pickle slices and your air fryer’s model.
