Crispy and delicious air fryer onion rings that are easy to make and perfect for snacking or as a side dish.

- 2 large onions, sliced into 1/4-inch rings
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
- Non-stick cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Place the beaten eggs in a separate bowl.
- In another bowl, add the breadcrumbs.
- Dredge each onion ring in the flour mixture, then dip in the eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Arrange the coated onion rings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Make sure they do not touch each other.
- Spray the onion rings lightly with non-stick cooking spray.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add grated Parmesan cheese to the breadcrumb mixture.
- Feel free to experiment with spices in the flour mixture to suit your taste.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
