- 1 pound fresh okra, trimmed and halved
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup cornmeal (optional for extra crunch)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the okra with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
- If using cornmeal, sprinkle it over the okra and toss again to ensure an even coating.
- Place the okra in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to work in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking, until the okra is crispy and golden brown.
