- 4 Russet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- to taste Salt
- to taste Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
- Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch. Drain and pat them dry with a towel.
- In a large bowl, toss the potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings until evenly coated.
- Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to do this in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking, until the fries are golden and crispy.
- Remove the fries from the air fryer, let them cool slightly, and serve immediately.
