- 4 slices of bread (your choice)
- 4 slices of cheese (cheddar, American, or your favorite)
- 2 tablespoons of butter, softened
- Garlic powder (optional)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 370°F (188°C).
- Spread butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place two slices of bread, butter-side down, in the air fryer basket.
- Layer two slices of cheese on top of the bread in the air fryer.
- Top with the remaining bread slices, butter-side up.
- Cook in the air fryer for 5-7 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the air fryer, let cool for a minute, then slice and serve.
Notes
- For added flavor, sprinkle a little garlic powder on the buttered side before air frying.
- Experiment with different types of cheese for more variety.
- Keep an eye on the sandwich during the last couple of minutes to avoid over-browning.
