- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder

- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup cinnamon sugar (for coating)

Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently until smooth.
- Roll the dough out to about 1/2 inch thickness. Use a donut cutter or two round cookie cutters to cut out the donuts.
- Preheat the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes.
- Spray the air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray. Place the donuts in the basket, ensuring they are not touching.
- Air fry the donuts for 5-6 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove the donuts from the air fryer and immediately coat them in cinnamon sugar while they are still warm.
- Serve warm and enjoy!

- For a chocolate glaze, melt some chocolate chips and dip the cooled donuts in the chocolate before coating with sprinkles.
